RPD Corporation was founded in 1989 by industry veteran, Dick Raddatz and his family. The company's goal is to provide high quality, full feature vending equipment specifically for smaller locations that is reasonably priced.

Steps toward the goal started in 1990 with the introduction of the RCS15 Counter Top Snack Vendor. This was followed by the RCS20 Snack Vendor in 1992. The RCS20 brought the convenience of dollar bill acceptance to small locations. The equipment line was expanded in 1993 with the addition of the RCD5 Cold Can Companion Vendor and in 1997 with the RCP12 Cold Food Companion.

Throughout the years RPD Equipment has constantly been up-graded with new features, improved components and superior electronics. In 1999 RPD's electronics became world class with the conversion to the Multi-Drop-Buss Control System.

RPD Corporation's export business began in 1991 and has grown each year since. RPD has shipped to 9 countries. A milestone was reached in 1999 when RPD vendors passed the testing required by the European Union and shipment began to Europe.

RPD remains today a family dedicated to Christian values, excellent equipment and a high level of service to the customers.
